We are working with the global Commercial Bank of a Tier 1 Universal Bank as the business continues to grow across multiple international markets.

The Commercial Bank has confirmed a major wave of investment across the division and the next two years are going to be focused on employing this investment to drive innovation, growth and structure globally.

ROLE: 

This role will be joining the Commercial Bank strategy team, which overlooks the entire division’s global strategy decision making. This team reports directly into the CEO as well working closely with the different business unit leaders to help put this strategy into action. The team focuses on the biggest strategic questions effecting the business, such as the next 5 year strategy plan and exploring innovation topics across payments and transaction banking.

This is a chance to join the leadership team and take responsibility for leading multiple project teams simultaneously while you build out you own network across the division and the wider group. You can look to progress quickly into a P&L responsibility in the wider business or step up to become the next Head of Strategy, depending on where you want to take your career.

This bank has a strong track record of taking in top tier strategic talent and promoting them across the wider business into senior management positions.

REQUIREMENTS: 

- Experience leading and managing strategy projects in a top tier consulting or corporate strategy background.

- Excellent stakeholder management experience essential with corresponding excellent communication and influencing skills observable.

- Excellent knowledge around financial services.

- Commercial Banking knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
