We are currently supporting a market leading consumer-focused business who are entering a key growth phase.
Having recently been acquired by a prestigious pan-European Private Equity fund, the business has ambitious targets for growth in the coming years.
The investors are working collaboratively with existing management, as well as making some key appointments to drive this growth and turn the business into the absolute leader within its market.
The investors and management have created a new role – Director of Commercial and Strategic Initiatives to be responsible for identifying and executing opportunities for strategic growth across the group.
Whilst significant work has already been done to formulise a short-term value creation and growth plan, this individual will be responsible for its implementation as well as formulating and executing key longer-term initiatives.
The successful individual will report to the Chief Commercial Officer (former Bain consultant), and work closely with the board and investors to deliver on key components of the value creation plan.
This is a senior role within the organisation requiring the ability to operate independently and drive initiatives across the business. An understanding of Private Equity and the ability to influence key stakeholders will be essential to this individual’s success.
- Minimum of 5 years work experience (industry and consulting), of which a significant portion should be with a tier-one consulting firm
- Strong degree from a top university
- High degree of numeracy
- Strong commercial acumen
- Ability to engage with and influence a diverse range of stakeholders
- Strong people management skills
- Full existing working rights for the EU
